Setup guide

Let’s get AliaStream on your screen

Pick your device, then follow the picture story, one scene at a time. Most people are watching in about 5 minutes. You can do this!

3 things you need

  • Your deviceA Firestick, Smart TV, phone, Apple TV, PC or MAG box, on the internet.
  • Your login emailWe send it after your order. It has a long M3U link (IBO Player Pro uses it), your Username, Password and Server URL (most other apps) and a Portal URL (MAG only). Lost it? Everything is in My Account.
  • About 5 minutesAnd your TV remote. That is all.

Firestick and Fire TV

Works on every Firestick, Fire TV Cube and Fire TV set.

  1. Get the Downloader app

    On the home screen, open Find and search Downloader. Install it from the Amazon Appstore. It is free and orange.

  2. Open Developer options

    Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options.

    No Developer options? Open Settings → My Fire TV → About and click your device name 7 times. Then go back.

  3. Turn Downloader ON

    Open Install unknown apps. Find Downloader and switch it ON.

  4. Type the code 4738580

    Open Downloader. Type 4738580 in the box and press Go. This gets IBO Player Pro.

  5. Install, then Open

    Wait for the download. Press Install, then Open.

    “App not installed” or it stops half-way? Your Firestick is full. Remove apps you do not use and try again. Watch how.

  6. Write down two codes

    Open IBO Player Pro on your Firestick. Write down the MAC address and Device Key, or take a photo.

  7. Log in on the IBO website

    Open iboplayer.pro/manage-playlists on your phone or computer. Type the MAC address and Device Key, then press Login.

  8. Add your playlist

    Press Add playlist. Name it AliaStream.com. Paste the long M3U link from your email. Press Save.

    Paste the whole M3U link here, not your username and password. This is the most common mistake.

  9. Press Reload and watch

    Go back to the app and press Reload. Your channels, movies and series appear. Enjoy!

Plan B: AliaPlayer

Want a free app instead? AliaPlayer is our own player. It is free, but only for AliaStream clients, so its Downloader code is in My Account.

  1. Do scenes 1 to 3 above.
  2. In Downloader, type the AliaPlayer code from My Account. Press Go, then Install and Open.
  3. Sign in with the Username, Password and Server URL from your email.

Samsung and LG Smart TV

For Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs.

  1. Install IBO Player Pro

    Press Home on the remote. Open Apps (Samsung) or the LG Content Store (LG). Search IBO Player Pro and install it.

    Cannot find it? Update the TV first: Settings → Support → Software update.

  2. Write down two codes

    Open IBO Player Pro on your TV. Write down the MAC address and Device Key, or take a photo.

  3. Log in on the IBO website

    Open iboplayer.pro/manage-playlists on your phone or computer. Type the MAC address and Device Key, then press Login.

  4. Add your playlist

    Press Add playlist. Name it AliaStream.com. Paste the long M3U link from your email. Press Save.

  1. Install IBO Player Pro

    Open the Google Play Store on your phone, tablet, Google TV or TV box. Search IBO Player Pro and press Install.

  2. Write down two codes

    Open IBO Player Pro on your device. Write down the MAC address and Device Key, or take a photo.

  3. Log in on the IBO website

    Open iboplayer.pro/manage-playlists on your phone or computer. Type the MAC address and Device Key, then press Login.

Plan B: AliaPlayer

On an Android TV or TV box you can also use AliaPlayer, our own free player for AliaStream clients. The code and steps are in My Account.

  1. Install Downloader from Google Play. Allow it to install apps when the TV asks.
  2. Type the AliaPlayer code from My Account, then Install and Open.
  3. Sign in with the Username, Password and Server URL from your email.

iPhone and iPad

For a recent iOS or iPadOS.

  1. Install IBO Pro Player

    On Apple the name is turned around: IBO Pro Player. Open the App Store and press Get, or use this App Store link.

  2. Write down two codes

    Open IBO Pro Player on your iPhone or iPad. Write down the MAC address and Device Key, or take a photo.

  3. Log in on the IBO website

    Open iboplayer.pro/manage-playlists on your phone or computer. Type the MAC address and Device Key, then press Login.

  4. Add your playlist

    Press Add playlist. Name it AliaStream.com. Paste the long M3U link from your email. Press Save.

Plan B: UHF

Another good app for Apple is UHF. It uses your login, not the M3U link.

  1. Install UHF from the App Store.
  2. Choose Create a playlist → Xtream.
  3. Type the Server URL, Username and Password from your email. Save.

For Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K.

  1. Install IBO Pro Player

    Open the App Store on the Apple TV. Search IBO Pro Player and choose Get.

  2. Write down two codes

    Open IBO Pro Player on your Apple TV. Write down the MAC address and Device Key, or take a photo.

  3. Log in on the IBO website

Windows PC and laptop

For Windows 10 and Windows 11.

  1. Install IBO Player Pro

    Download it from iboplayer.pro, or get it from the Microsoft Store. Open the file and follow the install.

  2. Write down two codes

    Open IBO Player Pro on your computer. Write down the MAC address and Device Key, or take a photo.

  3. Log in on the IBO website

    Open iboplayer.pro/manage-playlists on your phone or computer. Type the MAC address and Device Key, then press Login.

  4. Add your playlist

MAG box

No app needed. The box has its own portal.

First: you need the MAG box plan. A MAG box works with its MAC address, the code on the sticker under the box. Order the MAG box plan with that MAC. A normal plan does not work on MAG.

  1. Open the Portals menu

    Turn on the box. Go to Settings → System settings → Servers → Portals.

  2. Type the Portal URL

    In Portal 1 URL, type the Portal URL from your email or My Account. Type it exactly. It starts with http://, not https. Press Save.

  3. Restart the box

    Unplug the box, wait 10 seconds and plug it in again. The channel list opens by itself.

What’s wrong?

Invalid login

  • The Server URL starts with http://, not https.
  • Type everything exactly. Capital letters matter. No space at the start or end.
  • In IBO Player Pro you do not type a login in the app. The M3U link goes on the IBO website.
  • Use the newest details from your email or My Account.

Buffering

  • Restart your internet router first. Unplug it, wait 30 seconds, plug it in again. This fixes most cases.
  • Use 5 GHz Wi-Fi or a network cable.
  • You need about 15 Mbps for HD and about 25 Mbps for 4K.
  • Update the app, close it fully and open it again.

Works without VPN, not with VPN

With a VPN on, use the VPN address from My Account or your email as the Server URL. The normal address may not work through a VPN.

The app asks me to pay

That is the app’s own licence, not your AliaStream plan. IBO Player Pro is free for 7 days, then about $10 once, for life, paid to the app maker. Want a free app? AliaPlayer is free for clients. Its code is in My Account.

TV guide is empty

Copy the EPG link from My Account. Paste it in the app settings, in the EPG or TV guide box. Give it a few minutes to load.

Stops when two people watch

One connection plays on one screen at a time. If two screens play together, one stops. For two or more screens at once, choose a plan with more devices.

Firestick will not install

Your Firestick is full. Remove apps and games you do not use, then install again. Watch how to free up space.

Questions

Which app should I use?

IBO Player Pro on almost every device. On iPhone, iPad and Apple TV it is called IBO Pro Player. A MAG box needs no app: it has its own portal.

Do I have to pay for the app?

The app is not part of your plan. IBO Player Pro is free for 7 days, then about $10 once, for life, paid to the app maker. AliaPlayer is free for AliaStream clients.

Where are my login details?

In the email we sent after your order. Check Spam and Promotions too. Your details are always in My Account.

M3U link or username and password?

IBO Player Pro uses the long M3U link. Most other apps, like UHF and AliaPlayer, use the Username, Password and Server URL. A MAG box uses the Portal URL.

Can I use more than one device?

You can install the app on many devices. But one connection plays on one screen at a time. To watch on two or more screens together, choose a plan with more devices.

Can you set it up for me?

Yes. Send us the MAC address and Device Key from your app, and we add the playlist for you. Then you only press Reload.
